"Any fool would know that higher prices force conservation."

Yes, this is why I have argued for some time that the tax on gasoline should be high enough to issue a $300 per year automobile insurance voucher to drivers funded from these additional taxes.

BS - but I don't have time to rip your arguments to shreds. In short form, go look up Garnes-St. Germaine Act right after Reagan took office which BEGAN the S+L debacle. Read some books about the subject too. And also look at the list of B/C soft money contributors and who has been backing Bush ever since he was a lost 40-year-old with a big name. Also look into the interests of Halliburton Corporation. And go down to Houston and keep your ears open. It doesn't take a genius to put two and two together. If you're still in doubt, look at B-C statements (or lack therof) on efficiency and conservation and their most recent actions to try and dismantle and de-regulate all checks+ balances and protections we as citizens have against their corporate constituents whom are mostly the big polluters.

Go do your homework then get back to me some other day. Got to get back to work here.
