The oil rigs off the Louisiana Coast are the biggest fish habitat structures this nation has.

Thats because the galley cooks are always throwing food over the side.

Yeah and oil spills are great too. All those dead birds and fish make great eating. I'm sure the caribou in ANWAR can't wait for the oil companies to keep them warm at night. Why do you care so about drilling in a wilderness area anyway? It's obvious why NOT to but who DO it if you don't have to? It's not going to help you personally or help us until 5-10 years down the road. It's not that huge a supply and drilling there would be extremely divisive politically for our country. Conservation measures would save much more than ANWAR could ever give us. And you know they'll make a big mess up there nomatter what they promise.
