Oldtrader,

I played it slightly safer this time around and sold the May 32.5's for 70 cents against nearly half my holdings(not nearly approaching 85k shares) With earning out in May, I wanted to decrease my chances of having to roll out.

Bill - I have been going 50% at one strike and 50% at another - currently May 30s and 32.5s. Frankly don't think I will need to roll either position. As you say, a defensive position but has made decent money so far this year.

And in the interest of full disclosure, still holding 30,000 DELL. After getting over being shell shocked, and looking at the rest of my holdings, I have come to the conclusion that it is one of the safer and more predictable bets.
