I passed this excerpt about shifts in european liquidity on to the board just to counter some of the CNBC-type yakyaking on the dollar strength. After NOT yanking up the European interest rate last week, there's a surprisingly large number of positive reactions, like "Hey, AG is not a role model for these guys."

Re pound - it's sad that British isles are not where New Foundland is, they would have it much easier. At least nobody would ever dream of digging the Chunnel... OTH Cesar and Claudius would not pay them any visits etc...

Bear in mind that the percentage of British subjects the last night of the proms ("rule Britania..." etc) has fallen bellow 50%. This is pure subversion by those creatures from the - argh - Continent. Where's lady Margaret with her bag now that we need her?
