It's kind of a cute story. My house was on the lake created by a dam that is no longer here. My grandparents and friends used to fish at the end of the yard and have bon fires and drink beer and such. In the mid fifties they decided that they would build out here and bought the land. Didn't know if they could swing it and then the 58 tornado hit kind of wiping out the town. Had to build somewhere so why not here?

So they build their dream house, a 2 bedroom walkout on the lake. Since we bought it after my grandma died and gramps wanted to move to town we have added a 3rd bedroom and some other things on. All we need and then some:) But now the dam is gone due to flood damage and of course gramps has moved on, but it is still fun to be here and have a beer on the deck and think of the fun they had here.

I can't think of anywhere else I would rather be.
