Kap, I said "To be very honest, I don't think there is a reviewer or a person on the AMD or Intel thread that has a clue how the marketplace will play out in the future." You said "This is a rather meaningless statement." I think it's meaning is clear. Collectivly on the AMD and Intel thread we have reams of information. But the most strategic competitive information from both AMD and Intel are kept secret. Trying to anticipate what the market will look like one year from now is a pure guesswork. On another point, if this Intel/AMD group is really serious about predicting the marketplace and profiting from it, we should probably have one thread, where the industry is discussed without any bias or animosity.
