I think we have a high for this week on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. I'm sure that sometime during the week, we'll get jolted again by a warning. Go with the flow and always be ready for change.

<<I am not nearly as bullish this week, as I was last>> - agree...most of last week was likely profit taking on the short side...strength this week would be constructive on the bullish side...

Agreed Rande; Monday looks reasonably safe but I expect storms to brew with heavy hitters reporting. Of course, my view runs to the cynical: it is in the joint interests of brokers, MMs, funds and NASDAQ itself to stave off a massive NASDy delisting process, so I believe 2nd & 3rd tier bottom fishing to remain lucrative for a bit.

I'm expecting a horizontal market that stairsteps a bit throughout this quarter, with neither bull nor bear gaining a meaningful edge. It is the third quarter when I expect to see more blood, lo9wer lows, and the bottom of the post-bubble era.

Till late June, it will mostly be day-to-day weighing of buy/sell signals for me.
