Yes you can say that if you wish as China has been totally overrun time after time after time and The Us some time hundreds of years ago.

This 5 minutes and for possibly months to years China may have taken a hit that will slow their growth and have little negative effect on the US and possibly positive in that the President has more Political capitol because of it and can thus do more of the right thing.
