The world of technology is not a closed system, society is based on greed, if there is money to be made the smartest will make it while most lose it, many losing it in the process of trying to make it because that is what people do. Technology will do very well, but by definition the majority will not be able to make money off of this. How you reconcile something like this with being able to constantly buy a dip and make 50-100% in a week or two (not even using options, just underlying LOL), sell hundreds of millions of shares to the public in secondaries, ipo's, and general insider selling, well, just stick around, we will see what happens. I think the hangover will be much worse than you expect
