Have you tried DirectPC
Just got it and it is working OK.
You do need a clear exposure to the south but other than that, it should be available.

In a month or so, uploads and downloads will be at the same speed. Right now, only fast downloads.

i think there is a lot of bandwidth out there...
unfortunately it doesnt connect to the end user...
lots of huge lines laid out across the country but not to individuals...

I have cable here but I'm surprised that the Verizon still can't provide DSL here in AOL-land. They're just waiting for the competitive carriers to go under. At $40 a month, they can't stay in business.
