We have special ways of dating ancient events and placing them in the english and scientific lingo appropriate to our day and age. But you knew that, and I appreciate the little jest. It reminds me of God separating the light and the darkness before He had made them!

Speaking of Genesis (either of the absolutely different accounts), how can modern people still visualize and imagine momentous questions with these child-like images and visions. How long will the human race remain at the 7 or 8 year old level of imagination?!

Just saw another watchtower: Another beautiful colored painting of a family picking apples off of a tree in heaven; A deer walking along the creek, etc. Well, those are damn good things to do on earth, which is why we are attracted to such idyllic scenes. Maybe we ought to start living out our imaginations HERE? Once we have become humus, we will become the apple or the deer. But for now we are humans and we have choices to make. The choices of Humus are more limited...
