Napster may go away - but those millions of college kids will find another way to load up on free music.

Lars Ulrich - beware !

Hi Tenchusatsu,

You have disagreed with McComas in the past. I think he won the last round pretty easily:

Did you really write this?
"Besides, despite Intel's design win, I still think Sony Playstation 2 will wipe away the competition. This means Intel won't have to sell too many low-margin X-Box processors!"

Tenchusatsu,<<<because we all know those kids only buy those servers for Napster, which is going away pretty soon. ;-)>>>

Guaranteed to happen. Some kid in a dormitory has a new peer to peer application cooking as we post this message. It could be about music, video, games, porn, fantasy sports, commerce or all of the above.

By the time I hear about it, millions of kids will already be engaged in it. Somebody within MSFT will have to have enough courage to notify Bill that there is this application sweeping college campuses. At least, they have somebody to notify at MSFT. Who do you wake up at Intel?
