AS, The key is obviously to make a big push for alternative fuels, and fast, so that in 20 years we can get off oil altogether. The only real alternative to oil and fossil fuel is nuclear. If you think otherwise, you are kidding yourself (don't worry, kidding yourself about minor things like math and physics goes with the political persuasion, you are not alone) If you think you are not kidding yourself, tell me how you are going to keep New York City cool in the summer, warm in the winter (including megawatts by source).
