Dave, It is my understanding that snap track nas the following advantages.
1) Due to using GPS it is more accurate than network triangulation in a rural environment where towers are far apart.
2) Due to also incorporating some network location features, it is accurate in coty canyons and inside buildings where GPS fails due to line of sight limitations.
3) Due to using both GPS and network features simultaneously, it is more accurate in a veriety of environments than is the pure triangulation method.

For example , suppose you are in Kansas or in a remote part of Australia. Here GPS kicks in and gives you superior accuracy. Suppose you are inside a building in New |York--here the network features of SnapTrack kick in and give you superior accuracy.
