Hi Rob,

From Sprint FON's 1Q CC:
Reassesing $6B capital investment plan. Capital expenditure $364M in the quarter
Slower growth in access lines and minutes of use, increase of bad debt
8.3M access lines, 5.9M are consumer. Total access revenue decreased Q-Q

Voice volume up 26%, voice revenues down 2% Y-Y
2M DSL lines ARPU $55
Added 31 SONET rings in 1Q01
Total data revenues (ATM, FR, private line) increased 6% Y-Y

Fixed Wireless and ION revenues $7M. Fixed Wireless serves 13
residential and 14 small business markets
Have nearly 30,000 fixed wireless customers, goal is 90,000 by yearend
Evaluating new technologies in the quarter, leveraging PCS towers

Think of ION as being delivered over DSL. ION scaled back to 15 markets
from planned 86. Currently have 8 built
ION highend is two or four voicelines over DSL. Expect to end year with
50k-60k customers

Expect local division to grow at 3%-4% range in 2Q. Expect Global
Markets to decline 3%-4% in 2Q
IT revenues to grow in high-teens in 2Q
Phone group revenues in 2Q to be even Y-Y

==
No way they have captured 25% of the available broadband market in any of their fixed wireless markets
