Analog Devices: Thomas Weisel cuts estimates to reflect risk in DSL; Q2 revenue estimate cut from $715 mln to $610 mln, EPS from $0.42 to $0.31; CY01 from $2.92 bln to $2.45 bln, EPS from $1.70 to $1.25; CY02 from $3.4 bln to $3.1 bln, EPS from $2.10 to $1.75. North American telco market continues as main cause of slowdown.

While DSL is not rolling out as fast as suppliers would like in the US, there is still a general positive outlook for DSL. Overseas markets remain strong (maybe you can confirm this, Scrapps?) Again, ADI's strength is in its broad exposure to many markets.

TXN to cut 2000 jobs.
