It may be "unofficial", but the consumer already knows. I don't think I've ever seen capx come to slam up against a brick wall, so hard, so fast before. Do you think the funds futures market is reading the FED's next move correctly? Hopefully they are wrong. And, personally, I don't think easing 50 bps will be enough, the economy needs the type of cash infusion that across the board tax rate cuts will give. Unfortunately, it looks like it will be more tinkering around the edges to me. This is tax day, and I'm on the warpath.<gg>
