Oooops! This article plays fast and loose itself. With the truth.

Bush didn't win the election, he won a court case.

Obvious falsehood.

I can relate to the left's frustration, but I'm not sure the Nader voters who remained after the erosion in the last few days would not have just sat on their hands. Just as the Republican has to at least lean toward the center while campaigning, Gore absolutely had to make concessions to the middle. The lefties who stayed with Ralph are the die-hards, or purists, if you will. It's an iffy proposition that they were in a lessor-of-two-evils mood.

As for 2004, different year/different campaign. The successes of the Bush adminstration should (and are) already be a major concern for the Demo establishment-and they are the ones who have to run for the offices...

Dear Scum, being my fact and detail oriented self I check with regularity posters ability to report all of what an article says.

I indeed found it informative that in the article that you took the time to post fully you left out the headline at the top.

Challenging the big buck

Nader was right to make a stand against the corporate domination
of politics, even if it did let Bush win.

I guess that that is a curious artefact of left hand truth.
