Guys,

I recently talked at length with a long time Globalstar employee regarding service in Alaska. When I told him that I have followed Qualcomm for many years, he said that Qualcomm had great technology and engineering, but they were very difficult to work with as a company. This fellow is involved with deploying gateways which are subcontracted to Qualcomm. I didn't think much about it at the time since Globalstar had recently stopped servicing their debt, which could make any vendor difficult, but unlike Nokia, Globalstar is a partner / customer. Maybe our beloved Q needs to rotate their hard chargers through charm school.
