re Grubman report on TYCOM dated 4/11:

He notes a faster than expected decrease in transatlantic pricing and a trend toward leases vs IRU sales. The latter significantly decreases expected upfront payments, cash rev, and adj EBITDA, to the benefit of GAAP revenue and EBITDA.

Anybody read this research piece and have any thoughts on how it effects GX? For the sake of maintaining some excess liquidity, I think I'd prefer IRU sales right now.

QCOM has an ambassodor AND Papa Bush's National Security Advisor, Brent Scowcroft, on the Board of Directors, FWIW. Papa Bush also owned GBLX at one time, offereed to him in lieu of a fee for his attendance as a speaker on the topic of Communications in the New World Order.
