Hi John, I guess my late edit was a tad "too" late. I re-read the article and realized that my question didn't apply as you noted and wound up retracting it. Thanks for the reply, nonetheless. Always a pleasure. As an aside, it's interesting to note that some of the same proponents behind Digital Fountain are also among the seers who declare that bandwidth will be free and ubiquitous. Which is it? If it's to be free, then why jump through mathematical hoops in order to save a few bits of bandwidth? FAC
