Cisco Systems (CSCO) 17.22 -0.26: -- Update -- Cisco also taking massive charges; $2.5 bln inventory writedown; $300-400 mln related to 8,500 layoffs; $300-500 mln excess facilities; $200-300 mln asset impairment. Cisco also notes that weakness is now being seen in Asia and Europe, as well as the US.
