msft did do a about face when it challenged the 200 day ma That is a very good way to play position trades. I've played around with the 50 day ma crossing above the 200 day ma before my swing trading days. MSFT 200 day ma as of last Thursday close is 62.365. I can't argue with that discipline, there are many ways to beat the market, some just take longer than others. It is much better than dollar cost averaging down from 120 and becoming a bag holder for who knows how long. Frog
