Mish: it's difficult, as I hold puts on a few, but I'll try to...

...keep my exhuberance (sorry sp) in some sort of 'rational' perspective.

Question: why do you suppose that CNBC, which I watch constantly, hasn't to date, to my knowledge -- may have missed it -- EXPLAINED to its retail investing public -- that little, 'pesky detail' -- 'pro forma' gimmick?

EDIT: Just heard Tyler Mathison describe CSCO's warning as "astonishing" ... and 'completely unexpected' ...

LMAO.

From Briefing: 15:49 ET Siebel Systems (SEBL) 32.91 -0.27 (-0.8%): Rumor has been circulating for most of the session that company is planning to announce job cuts; source of the rumor appears to be San Jose Mercury News, which is reporting that SEBL may be planning to announce large layoffs this week in response to a drop in demand; speculation is that SEBL will trim as much as 20% of its workforce and shut down its online subsidiary Sales.com; while declining to comment on rumor, company spokeswoman indicated there would be significant announcements Wednesday when the company releases Q1 results.

Did I or did I not recently mention this one?
