The subjective senses are wonderful. Let us all praise the subjective senses. They make it so I can enjoy my tiramisu ice cream. Who could possibly complain about the wonder of the senses? But can they connect us to an objective truth? Can we ever connect to an objective truth, if such a truth even exists? That was the question. And I haven't seen much of an answer. But I am patient.

"And if you do suspect they were suspect what do you suspect they were suspect of?"

There are processing mechanisms that we use to understand and make use of sensory input. Different persons witnessing the same phenomenon will process it and use it in a variety of ways. Usually what ever meaning we determine for an event or phenomena will be modified when we have new experiences that enrich the meaning derived from an earlier experience. Sometimes we will totally reverse our interpretation of an event. Simply put, our senses provide a medium to interpret our experiences. Not the only medium and definitely not a finite or reliable one in and of itself.

I have no clue what your comment on Mozart has to do with this. Its an interesting comment though so feel free to explain it further.
