Tax system could use some revamping - if middle income people start hurting bad enough we may see it. I like the idea of a flat tax.

les, the eitc goes for lower income folks, right? while the whole system needs revamping, i believe in pareto charting the problems and going for the biggest bang for the buck. corporate and good ole boy "welfare" is a MUCH bigger problem. you know, the guy who contributes $100k to a campaign and gets the govt to spend a couple million revamping the beach in front of his hotel... happens all the time...
