I can't imagine write offs as large as Cisco's either.
As for AMAT's next peak price, I need to think about that. The last peak price was exaggerated by the bubble. [10x from bottom to peak. We won't see anything near that again. Maybe 3x from 34, if that]. But, reduced expectations are us. :)

PS: I get the feeling the market is relieved the CSCO news is out. Globex up slightly, but CSCO and AMAT down ah www2.marketwatch.com
