We don't have to weigh something to understand it. We have thousands of years of recorded observations of human relationships upon which to base an understanding of how humans bond, how humans relate to one another, what effects the removal of basic human relationships have on emotional development. Come on, Steven. Surely you don't expect to get away with this? We have EXACTLY the same thousands of years of recorded observations of religious belief. You have asked for proof that God exists. You have rejected all the evidence offered to you. It is not clear what you consider to be acceptable evidence and reasoning for things that are not physically measurable by humans. So now let's put the burden on you. Please prove, by hard evidence and reason, nothing else, that human love exists. And I get to be the one rejecting every attempt you make, and showing how you really don't have any proof that love exists, and your belief in love is a fantasy that has no basis in any of the values you claim to believe in.
