<<that's sanjay's new ploy>>

CA's in IBM's neck of the woods, no?

Sounds like Sanjay's been tutored by the master, Louis the Lip, himself!
I can see it now <fade into dream sequence>

Sanjay (dressed in David Carridine-style robes): ....but Master, how does one attain positive EPS growth when the top line grows not at all?

LTL: Grasshopper, you must use the inner knowledge! First take on debt to buy back shares, no matter the cost. Then move up all future orders into the current period. Never let your enemies (ie, the press) get a hint of declining orders. Always promise increasing future orders from remote, exotic Asian locations where no self-respecting American journalist would ever bother to confirm them. Rewrite all business expenses as "charges", and torture the balance sheet untill it squeals! Then, and only the, can you attain perfect wisdom....and in the money options vesting!

Sanjay: Master, you are TOO wise!
