I expected a much bigger reaction from PWAV. From -2 to +1.5, closing almost flat, with the rev/earnings news they released? Is it just me, am I missing something?

From CBSMarketWatch:

"The maker of amplifiers for mobile phone base stations on Thursday reported a net loss of 15 cents a share for the first quarter, deeper than the loss of 6 cents expected by analysts polled by Thomson Financial/First Call.

The Santa Ana, Calif.-based company blamed its 30 percent drop in first-quarter revenues on an "unprecedented and broadly based" slowdown in U.S. telecommunications investment.

Powerwave also projected full-year revenues of $400 million with earnings-per-share of 10 cents -- sharply lower than the revenues of $500 million and earnings near 29 cents that analysts had forecast. For the second quarter, the company projected a return to "very modest profitability."

Softechie, I'm not sure I understand, here. Afterwards, the "ultimate" low will be broken to the downside? Or are you saying hell breaks loose to the upside? -- that would redefine my "hell" which has always been "down."

or do you mean riotting in the streets, like Cincinatti?
