JOhn, Problem is, there's a whole bunch of people out there who want some easy pablum investing scheme to make them rich. Tab A into Slot B kind of thing. These are the folks for whom PEG ratio and ProForma are a godsend. Sheep though... gettin' sheared... While true, many people don't know diddly about finances or even how to read a Balance Sheet or Income Statement. Thus, they cannot perform much due diligence except for reading a message board.
