Saw a headline on a newspaper the other day but didn't have time to read the article - illegal aliens are a tax boon - they pay taxes - withholding, sales - but can't qualify for social services. A whole new source of "stuckees." I'm hoping to be so rich that I won't even draw Social Security. Seriously. I think rich people shouldn't get it. It's a rip-off, and a boondoggle, and if it was means-tested, it would be completely revamped because the rich and middle income payers would scream bloody murder. Any rich person with a shred of self-respect should not draw it, IMO. It's welfare, pure and simple. My kids will be paying my tab - I am paying for my dad - and he's rich.
