Hi Scumbria; My favorite example of a loser technology stock that mom and pop got hurt on is AENG, which claimed an improved automobile engine: Subject 19510 Just like Rambus, they had industry leaders signed up as board members and shareholders, and just like Rambus, there was no way that you would know that they were full of BS unless you were an engineer in the field. (And like Rambus, there were plenty of loser engineers who understood just enough of the technology to think that it was a good idea.) -- Carl P.S. One of the things I want to do is to write up a post mortum on how it is that smart people like Zeev Hed and ptnewell got sucked into this idiot cult stock.
