And I further agree with you that it is the PARENTS responsibility to educate their own. So give them back their stinkin' money and let THEM decide how best to "educate". 60% of Black American children cannot read at grade level 4. Absolutely scandalous. That will be my last word.

You are correct. The teachers' unions, and democrats and republicans more interested in getting elected than doing the right thing, tell us the only thing holding schools back is that we aren't taxed enough. Taxes have nothing to do with it, and are just another scapegoat for lazy adults to hide behind.
