Intel earnings will be a non-event given what happened with Cisco. Intel will still make money even if it is somewhat less over the coming quarters.
Don't have the same types of inventory issues as Cisco, which is the biggest negative in the economic environment.

Intel also has lots of cash as well!!

Can Intel earnings be any worse than Cisco? No chance. They will be bad but Cisco has set the standard!
That is why the market will not be suprised by Intel, no matter what they have to say.

The dark cloud over this market was Cisco and not Intel. Investors may have held back some purchases until the Cisco warning was out and this week was the logical release for the warning.

Intel was the buy of day. (maybe AMD also)
