Nukes - question is, whose backyard? And takes many years to get one of those things on-line. Won't help us now, but conservation will and alt fuels can be developed just as fast. So maybe do both as a compromise. I always like a good compromise so long as it doesn't destroy the environment permanently. That's killing the Golden Goose.
