Slowdown? - Seems like good news out of Sprint PCS:

On the brighter side, Sprint PCS (PCS: news, msgs, alerts) , the company's
wireless phone segment, registered a 68 percent increase in revenue to
$2.05 billion from $1.22 billion.

Cash flow, a key financial gauge of fast-growing businesses, climbed to $253
million. Cash flow basically reflects the ability of a company to pay its bills
on time out of its own pocket.

Meanwhile, Sprint PCS (PCS:Nasdaq - news), the company's mobile phone
unit, posted a first-quarter loss of 40 cents a share. Analysts had expected it
would record a loss of 37 cents a share.

Sprint PCS' revenue jumped 68% to $2.05 billion from $1.22 billion a year
earlier.

The unit gained about 875,000 net new customers, including 49,000 resale
subscribers. Average monthly revenue per user rose to $60 from $57.

Shares of Sprint closed up 42 cents to $23.41 on Monday. Sprint PCS fell 56
cents to $23.
