EVERYONE knows Haise -- wish I could say I knew him personally. I am not familiar with DeBus. My more regular or memorable contacts were with Shepard, Slayton, Cooper, Stafford, Collins and Aldrin. What a privilege to have spent part of my life working with so many great people devoting their lives to accomplishing great things. If any space junkies haven't read these; check out Michael Collins' "Carrying the Fire" and Michener's "Space". One was there and wrote it down the way it was and the other checked facts as relentlessly as anyone who ever picked up a pen. m
