Jason, despite what my personal reactions to TCM may be, I continue to maintain that *THEY* are the competition to GX.

I would be appreciative of any information you discover.

I wish to qualify my concerns here. I do NOT believe TCM can target the same customers as GX. I DO believe TCM will be supplying the bulk of the bandwidth which could possibly set the base-line for bottom prices in the subsea networks.

How all of this plays out will depend upon how quickly the market for bandwidth expands...and IMO, it is expanding more rapidly than generally expected. Just my opinion.

On another note, I have been watching the FED numbers closely, and about 4 weeks ago I noted what I considered a lull in slowing productivity. Certainly consumer sentiment *may* have an effect, but I believe we will see the continued blistering pace in Asia, REGARDLESS of what John Chambers shouts (is he trying to get his stock options repriced?? is he trying to add ammunition to his buddy Bush's tax cut?? watch out for IBD articles...they will tell you what the Big Money wants, not necessarily what is good for the small investor...me!) I note todays' industrial capacity is UP not DOWN, and this is far more encouraging than I can say. As well, with CPI dropping consistently, we have the formula for better action from the FED for guaranteeing a more substantial support in pulling the economy back up...at least, this is my perspective.

PS: I believe some of the dump of some of the better stocks yesterday was due to the Marketeers *knowing* that CSCO would report terrible news (he already said so, Briefing reported his previous feelings of 30% drop...what's the real news here?), and they would hope to buy back today what they sold higher yesterday....we shall see how this working hypothesis plays out, and meanwhile maybe I will get some Marinol or Dramamine for the nausea.....
