I would appreciate all the good thoughts the people in your hand would like to send my way. I never turn away good thoughts, no matter who they are from. Perhaps they could be accommodating enough to answer my wishes without my praying to them?

I feel the same way about all Gods: Vishnu, Yaweh, Jehovah, Shiva, Odin, Zeus, etc. I don't have any evidence they exist, but you won't catch me getting into the business of proving negatives either. That's agnosticism for me.

It occurred to me I must not have been very clear if you didn't understand me.

What I believe:

I believe in acting upon the stimuli that I can see, hear, taste, feel, smell. I believe in doing this because through trial and error since my birth this has worked out for me. I believe in using my thoughts. Although I have learned they are not to be entirely trusted (just as my senses cannot be entirely trusted). Sometimes something that seems totally rational will not work. Of course in my experience there was usually a flaw in the reasoning, in that not all data necessary was available.

I believe in kindness and good manners in most situations, because it makes life more pleasant, and I like a pleasant life. I believe I could make life very difficult for myself if I wanted too. But I choose not to.

This is some of what I believe.

I must remember never to applaud.

Or to do so only in Zen fashion <g>

Out of curiosity, are they immune to pizza? and how about soap?
<I'll nobly resist the other obvious questions...>
