It's Angell, Again : Hearing that individual at Bear Stearns talking down possibility of an inter-meeting cut is former Fed Governor Wayne Angell. Investors will remember that Mr. Angell ignited a market rally when his team suggested that inter-meeting cut was all but assured, only to withdraw than opinion a few trading days later... Angell's comments today have pulled major indices off highs of the morning; opinion is based on economic data released this morning... The April funds futures are also indicating no inter-meeting ease; May contract indicating a 73% chance of a 50 bp move at the May 15 Fed meeting.
