Haim: One of the tactics employed by the Institutions is by pattern repitition to force the Investor to conform to the current pattern. Once they have sold off their current holdings at these levels, they then pull the rug going short.

Institutions are certainly not buying aggressively nor are the Funds. Some Tech funds are selling down as clients cash out. The Institutions linked to these Funds usually support them while this is happening.

Its far too early for an investor on the side lines to be worried about missing the cycle. There is lots of time June, Aug or possibly later. As time is on the side of the value Investor , I recommend pursuing a value approach vrs a Momentum one.
