Perhaps the single most effective means we have of improving educational performance in our schools by throwing money at the problem is by providing the entire student body with three squares a day. Students should get three nutritionally sound (no catsup as a vegetable) meals a day at school. They should receive breakfast when they arrive, lunch at mid-day, and dinner before they leave.
