Hi again, You are preach'n to the Choir on that one LOL.

My post was intitiated , because it looked like you
were telling us that ... Bell Labs invented (Generic )OFDM.

As we know .. "Flarion's innovative flash-OFDM™ technology"
is only one (trademarked) version of xOFDM or OFDMx.

My personal preference is for W-OFDM, which I have been
following for about two years.

The Wi-Lan /Philips W-OFDM ASICS (I believe) are based on an ARM Core.

Also a poster from Belgium, called "rolansoenens" on clubs.yahoo.com tells us that
Philips, IMEC, and barco worked very closely on the Wi-Lan/ Philips ASICS. You may find more on these folks,
at ofdm-forum.com

I hope you are not also restricting yourself to the Last-Mile view ,
that only the "Big & Once Mighty" are leaders in this technology.

BTW there is a large amount of NON-WILAN OFDM Technology
information and links at clubs.yahoo.com

BTW don't worry about getting bruised over here.
These folks are "Tough" and I seldom hang around very long
as I can't stand the heat .. :-)
Best,
Mardy.
