"Obviously it is not very intelligent to place it in your mouth for a continuous period of 70-100 years"

Can you sight any studies that show a relationship to any diseases of any kind? There are a LOT of people with fillings that seem fine to me. I did have a girlfriend a few years back that ran into problems having her old fillings taken out though.

Please sight the statistics for sicknesses related to tooth fillings. If it is as dangerous as you suggest they should be easy to come up with.

Dear scum, the only thing obvious to this intelligent person is that one seals a room and dresses in a sealed environmental suite or one does not disturb asbestos and I see no reason to think one would do differently because the contained possible material is highly reactive and not inert and that creating and expand the surface area of exposure by tens of orders of magnitude is a very bright idea.

The short term massive exposure may in total be greater than the total exposure long tern and residual effects of non removed maybe toxic materials may be not changed at all. Also very limited testing may have been done on the chemical compatibility of the latest space age chemistry replacing the old known mercury compound and new chemical reactions may lead to more mercury leaching from residual mercury that is worse than any leaching if any from leaving the mercury compound alone in the first place.

So from this I conclude the only thing obvious to this intelligent person is when in doubt follow rule one. IF it AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT.

RULE 2, IF A VACANT LIBERAL MIND THINKS ITS A GOOD IDEA, RUN LIKE HELL.

ya all have a nice day now ya hear.
