Finally, NOK clears up the confusion on 3G

NOk's comment about.. "the most realistic projection of 3G market share is one that calculates the number of contracts"

so now we know why NOK is hell-bent on signing up folks by throwing money at them so early on....that gives them market share, right? They say so right here

You are right about NOK trying to lay claim to market share without delivering any product. The dismal performance of GPRS is only second to the problems that the GSM operators are going to have without high speed wireless internet access.

I believe if not now, very soon we will start to see signs of trouble between the GSM operators and NOK. The GSM operators realize that NOK has been their number one handset provider, however that love will be lost if their financial performance is in jeopardy because of competitive networks.

I bet NOK wishes they had that $1.7 billion that they used to buy back some of their shares.
