JRI if they are keeping MSFT and INTC this high, this long, I'm fairly confident they can't wait to run them up tomorrow after earnings announcements regardless of what they say in the CC's.

I'm telling you flat out, that Mufus and Houses have more confidence in their ability to sway public opinion via the media than they do in corporations to meet earnings. Since everything is based on sentiment, the thinking appears to be that rallying the market (like painting the tape) will reverse the downward spiral enough to free up tepid investors who are parked in bonds and mmf's. The best way to do it is to buy into miserable earnings reports.

My prediction: tomorrow will be a big bogus rally and CSCO MSFT INTC EMC DELL will all lead the way. It's such a farse but it may work. There's no logic to sentiment.
