Hi Andy Thomas, I have a funny ANFO story. In 1979, I was working in an oil shale mine in Western Colorado. We did a demonstration of in-situ rubblization of oil shale, and it involved about 3 pounds of ANFO packed into a couple of bore holes. The demonstration was watched by 20 DOE officials via closed circuit TV, who were standing about 1,000 ft. away in a different room of the mine. As expected, the explosion went off and the camera was instantly destroyed. We cleared a landslide (caused by the explosion) away from the mine entrance, and escorted all the officials out. When we returned to the viewing area, we discovered that 30x20x4 ft piece of the mine ceiling had fallen, right where all the DOE officials had been standing. Compare that to several thousand pounds of ANFO used in OKC. The author of your paranoid piece has no idea what he is talking about. Scumbria

A blizzard of OKC-inspired "domestic terrorism" bills were rushed into Congress in a matter of days, some of them pre-written and already printed up BEFORE THE BOMBING. These proposed laws cover everything from banning virtually all privately owned firearms to unlimited and court-admissible Federal wiretaps to censorship of the Internet to the suspension of habeas corpus in "terrorism" cases to the grotesque destruction of the First Amendment advocated in Charles Schumer's bill H.R. 2580, which imposes a five-year prison sentence for publicly engaging in "unseemly speculation" and publishing or transmitting by wire or electronic means "baseless conspiracy theories regarding the Federal government of the United States". Got bill numbers for these proposed laws? What happened to them?
