The status of the class action suits is like all the other suits filed. If there is any settlement at all, it will be 3 years, and if in that time the company thrives, the suits will wither away. Of course if they fold, then you get nothing anyway. Even if a suit settles, you get micro pennies on the dollar, so why even bother waiting for the suit? Its all part of the game they call the stock market. I doubt you will find any intentional negligence at Covad anyway.
