According to what I read from CPM group, the Russians have a supply, but unfortunately it is not enough to fulfil the present demand.

The shorts got their butts burned today,...short covering rally. Expect a whole bunch more because supply will not cover demand in the next year and volatility in price will continue to be extreme. Many of us have read that Honda has come up with some new catalytic convertor technology that uses less PGM's. The buzz is it does work,...but needs replacing faster than existing catalytic convertors (the muffler shops dream). It appears that PGM's are blown out of all convertors over time especially in auto's driven at higher speeds. A new kind of pollution rains down on us. Convertors that use less PGM's, blow out faster,...and need replacement sooner. Perhaps a false economy,...we will see when they finally introduce them.
